Ingredients
  • 2cups Milk
  • 1/2cup Water
  • 2tsp Black Tea Leaf Powder
  • 4tsp Sugar
  • 2inch Ginger Piece
  • 2 Cloves
  • 2 Green Cardamoms
  • 1inch Cinnamon Piece
  • 4-5 Black Pepper(optional – I didn’t use any)
Instructions
  1. Peel off the ginger skin and get all the spices required for making tea masala. In a mortar & pestle, crush them well.
  2. In a pot, add the crushed tea masala along with water. Heat it on low flame for 2-3 mins.
  3. Next add tea powder and boil it for 4-5 mins on low flame.
  4. Now add milk and mix it well.
  5. Boil the tea on low flame for 7-10 mins. If the tea boils too soon, stir it quickly using a spoon and let it simmer.
  6. Atlast, add sugar and mix it well.
  7. Strain the tea onto tea cups.
  8. Serve hot with any snacks.
