Ingredients
  • 200grams Button Mushrooms
  • 1cup Finely Chopped Onions
  • 1/2cup Finely Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 2 Green Chillies
  • 2tbsp Oil
  • 1tsp Shahi Jeera
  • 2 Cinnamon
  • 1 Cardamom
  • 1 Clove
  • 1/4tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1/2tsp Coriander Powder
  • 2tbsp Fresh Cream
  • Salt as needed
  • Water as needed
  • Coriander Leaves to garnish
Instructions
  1. In a pan heat oil. Add cinnamon, cardamom and clove along with shahi jeera.
  2. Once they crackle, add finely chopped onions along with slit green chillies. Fry until translucent.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste and fry until the raw smell is gone.
  4. Next add spice powders – turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and coriander powder. Fry for a minute.
  5. Add finely chopped tomatoes and cook until mushy.
  6. Keep covered for 3-4 mins and when oil oozes out, add sliced mushrooms. Add salt as needed and mix well.
  7. Cook covered for 4-5 mins and mushrooms should leave enough water to cook. Add extra water as required. Cover again and cook for another 4-5 mins.
  8. Add fresh cream and mix well. Let the gravy boil for a minute. Garnish with coriander leaves and remove from heat.
  9. Serve hot with any Indian bread or Pulao.
