Ingredients
  • 1/3cup Saggubiyyam/Javvarisi/Sago
  • 2cups Milk
  • 1/3cup Sugar
  • 1/4tsp Cardamom Powder
  • Water as needed
Instructions
  1. In a heavy bottomed pan, add saggubiyyam/javvarisi/sago with enough water. Cook on medium flame, stirring occasionally until each pearl is transparent. There should not be a lot of water remaining.
  2. Add sugar and mix well. Remove from heat.
  3. Once cooled down, add milk and cardamom powder.
  4. Pour into popsicle moulds, freeze for 6-8 hours/overnight.
  5. To remove the popsicle from the mould, run them through water at room temperature and gently wiggle them out.
  6. Serve immediately.
